furimui te , wasure naiyouni migi he naratta

It was difficult to translate this sentence, especially the “右へ倣った”

An example given in the Eng-Jap dictionary ejje.weblio.jp says this:
彼が「いやです」と言ったら, 右へならえでみんな校長の要求を断ってしまった. Afterhe had said “I won’t do it,” all the others followed suit [followed hisexample], and refused to do what the headmaster had demanded.

So she is basically following somebody elses example.. or something like that.. If anyone has any better way to translate the sentence please write a comment :)
